In the competitive world of mobile MOBAs, the first quarter of 2024 has shown some interesting trends in the Latin American market. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into how the top MOBA applications have fared on the Android platform.
Starting with Brawl Stars, the title saw a steady increase in downloads, peaking at 394K in the final week of March. Revenue also showed an upward trend, with a notable jump to $275K in the last week of January. The weekly active users surged impressively, reaching 11.9M by the end of March.
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang experienced a more fluctuating pattern in downloads, but witnessed a rise to 160K downloads in mid-March. Revenue for the game peaked at $191K in the last week of March, while weekly active users saw a gradual increase, ending the quarter at 1.8M.
Riot Games, Inc' League of Legends: Wild Rift saw its highest downloads at 56K in mid-February, with the weekly active users experiencing a slight decline throughout the quarter, concluding at 669K. Revenue trends for Wild Rift showed a peak of $170K in the week of February 12th.
Although Honor of Kings had a modest performance in terms of revenue, with $36K being the highest in the third week of February, the game maintained a steady base of weekly active users, ending the quarter at 718K. Downloads for Honor of Kings saw a peak of 78K in the third week of January.
Lastly, Pokémon UNITE observed its download numbers soar to 155K during the last week of February. Despite seeing revenue fluctuate, the game peaked at $45K in the same week. The active user base showed a slight downward trend, finishing at 417K by the end of March.
