Throughout the first quarter of 2024, the top 5 Otome games on the Android platform in the United States exhibited varied performance trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at how these games fared, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Love and Deepspace had a notable launch in January 2024, seeing its weekly revenue peak at around $244K in early February. However, by the end of March, revenue had decreased to approximately $53K. Downloads showed a sharp decline from 43K in the second week of January to just under 4K in the last week of March. The game’s active users also saw a decline, starting from 54K in late January to about 27K by the end of March.
IkemenSengoku Otome Anime Game demonstrated a relatively stable performance in terms of revenue, with weekly earnings ranging between $3.5K and $7.3K throughout the quarter. Downloads fluctuated slightly, peaking at 3.6K in mid-February and ending the quarter at 2.8K. Active users steadily increased from 2.8K at the start of January to 7.1K by the end of March.
Otome Games Obey Me! NB experienced a dynamic quarter. Weekly revenue saw a significant spike to $16K in mid-March, after fluctuating between $3.8K and $10K earlier in the quarter. Downloads peaked at 4.7K in mid-January but gradually decreased to around 2.3K by the end of March. Active users showed a positive trend, increasing from 25.8K at the beginning of January to 30.8K by the end of the quarter.
Disney Twisted-Wonderland maintained a strong presence with its highest weekly revenue reaching $68K in late January. Although there were fluctuations, revenue ended on a high note with $29K in the last week of March. Downloads saw a significant peak at 6K in late January but dwindled to 921 by the end of March. Unfortunately, active user data for this game was not available.
Lastly, Obey Me! Anime Otome Sim Game showed consistent performance, with revenue mostly hovering around $4K to $5K each week. Downloads remained stable between 1.1K and 1.5K, except for a drop to 883 in the final week of March. Active users stayed relatively steady, ranging from 16.4K to 18.3K throughout the quarter.
