As the first quarter of 2024 wraps up, we take a look at the performance of the top five personal finance apps on the Android platform in Brazil. The data, courtesy of Sensor Tower, reveals the trends in downloads and weekly active users, providing a snapshot of user engagement across these budgeting and planning tools.
Money manager & expenses started the quarter with around 9K downloads and 55K active users but saw a decline to approximately 2.6K downloads and 43K active users by the end of March. Despite a slight fluctuation, the weekly active users showed a downward trend overall.
Splitwise showed a similar pattern, kicking off the quarter with over 9K downloads and 13K active users. The app experienced a decrease in downloads to about 2.5K, while the active users slightly dipped to around 11K by the close of the quarter.
Fast Budget - Expense Manager observed a notable drop from nearly 4K downloads in the first week to around 1.5K, with active users also falling from 8.7K to 6.5K during Q1.
Tricount - Split group bills had a modest start with approximately 3K downloads and 6K active users, but the quarter ended with lower figures, around 671 downloads and just over 3K active users.
Lastly, Wallet: Budget Expense Tracker began the quarter with about 1.6K downloads and 8.6K active users. The app's downloads fluctuated, peaking at 1.2K before settling down to 374, while active users remained fairly stable, ending the quarter at 7.8K.
