In the first quarter of 2024, the top 5 snake games on the Android platform in Australia showed varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Data from Sensor Tower provides a detailed look into these trends.
Snake Clash! from Supercent, Inc. saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting from 4K in early January and peaking at approximately 10.7K in mid-March. Revenue for this game also experienced fluctuations, starting at $143 in the first week of January and reaching $267 by the end of March. Weekly active users rose significantly from 9.9K to around 19.9K over the quarter.
Snake.io - Fun Snake .io Games by Kooapps Games maintained a more steady download trend, starting at 3.6K and ending the quarter with around 4K. Revenue for this game remained relatively low, peaking at $45 in the first week of January. Active users saw a slight increase from 18.9K to 19.2K throughout the quarter.
Tangled Snakes by Popcore Games experienced a decline in downloads, starting from 2K in early January and dropping to 1.4K by the end of March. Revenue began at $107 and saw a downward trend, concluding the quarter at $45. Active users, however, showed resilience, with numbers hovering around 23K to 27K throughout the period.
Snake Run Race・3D Running Game by Freeplay Inc had a challenging quarter. Weekly downloads started at 2.1K but dropped to approximately 1.1K by the end of March. Revenue for this game was minimal, with sporadic peaks, and active users remained relatively stable, starting at 24.4K and ending at 25.5K.
Finally, slither.io by Lowtech Studios showed a consistent trend in downloads and active users. Weekly downloads fluctuated slightly, starting at 1.3K and ending at 1.1K. Revenue was negligible throughout the quarter. Active users started at 10.3K and saw a slight decline to 8.9K by the end of March.
