In Q1 2024, the top social apps on Android in the Czech Republic demonstrated diverse patterns in downloads, revenue, and active user engagement. Below is a detailed breakdown of the performance of the top five apps: Facebook, Threads, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook Lite.
Facebook experienced a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $2.6K in the final week of March. Downloads saw a significant rise mid-quarter, reaching around 23.8K in the week of February 26. Active users fluctuated, starting at 3.25M in early January and ending at 3.16M by the end of March.
Threads had a consistent download pattern, with values ranging from 5.7K to 17.5K throughout the quarter. Active users grew steadily, starting at 56K in early January and reaching about 98K by the end of March.
TikTok generated significant revenue, peaking at approximately $125.6K in the week of January 22. Downloads fluctuated around the 8K mark, with a notable increase to 8.3K in late March. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around 1.12M throughout the quarter.
Instagram saw a peak in weekly revenue at around $2.5K in mid-March. Downloads remained steady, averaging between 6K and 8K per week. Active users showed a consistent trend, starting at 2.05M and ending at 2.08M by the end of March.
Facebook Lite displayed a steady download rate, with a notable peak of approximately 8.8K in early March. Active users hovered around 145K to 153K throughout the quarter.
