Solitaire games continue to be a mainstay for casual gamers, and the first quarter of 2024 has seen varied performance among the top apps in this category on Android in Australia. Sensor Tower provides insights into these trends, with a focus on downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.
The classic Solitaire - Classic Card Games by MobilityWare experienced a stable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at $407K in mid-February before settling to $392K by the end of March. Downloads for the app also grew, starting at 2.26M in the first week of January and reaching nearly 5M by late March. Weekly active users showed a consistent uptrend, from 29K to over 40K in the same period.
Another version of Solitaire - Classic Card Games by Guru Puzzle Game saw its revenue fluctuating, with a high of $182K in mid-March. Downloads began at 3.87M but saw a slight decline to 3.08M by the quarter's end. Active users remained relatively stable, hovering around the 23K to 25K mark throughout the quarter.
Solitaire - 2024 from Standard Puzzle didn't generate revenue but had a strong start in downloads with over 2M in the first week of January. However, downloads saw a significant drop, falling to 823K by the end of March. Weekly active users peaked at 11K in late January but declined to 8.76K by the quarter's end.
Mouse Games' Solitaire also had no revenue to report. Downloads started at 3.42M and decreased over the quarter to 2.37M. Active users began at 25K and showed a slight decline, ending the quarter at around 23K.
Lastly, Solitaire from Solitaire Aquarium, while generating modest revenue that fluctuated from $136K to $149K, saw a decrease in downloads from 2.65M to 498K. Weekly active users started at 6.05K and declined to 5.14K by March's end.
