As the first quarter of 2024 comes to a close, Sensor Tower has gathered data on the top five Tower Defense games on the Android platform in the United States. Here's a brief overview of how each game performed in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.
Starting with Plants vs. Zombies™, the classic game saw a slight decrease in downloads from 35K in the first week of January to around 29K by the end of March. Weekly active users followed a similar downward trend, starting at 229K and dipping to 188K. Revenue remained relatively stable, with a peak at $1.45M towards the end of February.
Next up, Fight For America: Country War experienced a significant drop in revenue from $11K in the first week of January to around $5.5K by the end of March, with a mid-quarter peak at almost $7K. Downloads decreased from 36K to around 23K, while weekly active users showed a slight decline from 242K to 238K.
Stick Hero: Tower Defense had no revenue to report, but downloads saw an increase from 18K to around 23K in mid-February before falling back to 18K by the end of March. The game's weekly active users showed a downward trajectory from 67K to 40K over the quarter.
For Kingdom Guard:Tower Defense TD, revenue saw fluctuations with a notable peak of $288K in the last week of March. Downloads remained relatively stable with a slight increase from 15K to 20K in late February. Weekly active users showed growth, starting at 27K and reaching 34K by the end of the quarter.
Lastly, Rush Royale: Tower Defense TD showed an overall positive trend in revenue, spiking at $102K in mid-February before settling at $96K by March's end. Downloads peaked at 19K in the third week of March, while weekly active users increased from 185K to 206K, indicating a strong user retention.
