In the first quarter of 2024, the top travel and local apps on Android in Turkey demonstrated varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a detailed look at the trends for each app, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Couchsurfing Travel App saw a consistent increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $396 in the last week of March. Downloads fluctuated, reaching a high of 643 in late January before settling at 449 by the end of the quarter. Active users showed minor variations, starting at 1.5K and ending at 1.4K.
Flightradar24 Flight Tracker experienced a notable peak in weekly revenue at $369 in mid-March. Weekly downloads remained relatively stable, with a high of 3.8K mid-January and a slight uptick towards the end of March at 3.3K. Weekly active users started strong at 70.8K but showed a slight decline, finishing the quarter at 62.9K.
Find my Phone - Family Locator exhibited an upward trend in weekly revenue, peaking at $97 in early March. Downloads saw significant growth, starting at 699 and reaching a high of 2.2K in early February before tapering off to 935 by the end of March. Active users increased from 2.1K in early January to a peak of 3.3K in early February, ending the quarter at 2.2K.
TourBar - Chat, Meet & Travel showed a fluctuating pattern in weekly revenue, peaking at $111 in mid-February. Downloads remained relatively steady, with a high of 564 in early January and ending the quarter at 273. Active users saw a slight decline from 750 at the start of the year to 479 by the end of March.
Piri Guide – Travel Planner demonstrated a significant surge in weekly downloads, peaking at 1.8K in late February. Revenue also saw a minor peak at $72 during the same period. Active users showed a notable increase, starting at 22.8K in early January and reaching a high of 35K by late February before settling at 25.1K by the end of March.
