In Q1 2024, the top 5 Travel and Local apps on Android in Norway exhibited diverse performance patterns in downloads and active users. Below is a detailed analysis of each app's trends based on data from Sensor Tower.
Ruter had a steady increase in weekly downloads at the beginning of the quarter, reaching a peak of approximately 2.1K in mid-January before experiencing a gradual decline to around 1.2K by the end of March. Weekly active users saw a slight fluctuation, starting at 21.9K and peaking at 25.9K in mid-January, before decreasing to around 20.9K by the end of the quarter.
Entur - Journey Planner experienced a notable peak in weekly downloads, hitting 2K in mid-January, followed by a downward trend to about 1.2K by the end of March.
EasyPark - Parking made easy saw its weekly downloads rise steadily, peaking at 1.7K in mid-February, before dropping to about 1K by the end of March. Weekly active users showed an upward trend, starting at 15.9K and reaching a peak of 21.7K in mid-February, before stabilizing at around 18.7K by the end of the quarter.
Airbnb showed a consistent performance in weekly downloads, fluctuating between 974 and 1.4K throughout the quarter. Weekly active users increased from 16K at the start of January to 16.5K by the end of March.
Apcoa Flow maintained steady weekly downloads, peaking at 1.3K in late January, before declining to 812 by the end of March. Weekly active users showed a slight decline from 3.3K at the start of January to 3K by the end of March.
