In the first quarter of 2024, the waifu game genre continued to captivate players on Android in France. Data from Sensor Tower reveals how five leading titles performed in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users.
LYSSA: Goddess of LOVE observed a positive trajectory with downloads peaking at nearly 3K in February before stabilizing around 2K. Weekly active users followed a similar trend, climbing to over 4K in February and maintaining a steady base above 3K by the end of March.
Echocalypse: Scarlet Covenant experienced a decline in downloads, starting the quarter with over 4K and dropping to just 185 by March's end. Active users also saw a decrease, though the count remained above 2.9K in the final week.
For OUTERPLANE - Strategy Anime, the downloads saw a significant drop after the new year, from 7.8K to under 100 in the last week of March. Weekly active users showed resilience with a count above 2K towards the quarter's close.
Honkai Impact 3rd, a veteran in the category, maintained a consistent download rate, hovering between 600 and 900 throughout the quarter. The game's active user base remained robust, ending the quarter with over 6K weekly active users.
Lastly, GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE stood out with impressive revenue figures, starting strong at $40K and concluding with $12K in the final week. Downloads remained steady, with a slight uptick in March, while active users showcased a slight decline but remained above 12K.
