Brazil's zombie game enthusiasts have been actively engaging with their favorite undead-themed titles on Android throughout the first quarter of 2024. Here's a quick rundown of how the top five games fared in terms of downloads and weekly active users, with insights from Sensor Tower.
Last War:Survival Game kicked off the quarter with strong performance, seeing a notable increase in downloads from 65K in the first week to a peak of 167K by early March. Weekly active users followed a similar upward trend, starting at 156K and soaring to over 726K in the second week of March.
Plants vs. Zombies™ maintained a steady presence with downloads fluctuating around the 50K mark and reaching nearly 60K in the first week of January. The game's active user base showed resilience, starting at 512K and peaking at 545K towards the end of March.
For Zombie Tsunami, downloads saw a slight decrease from 112K in the initial week to 98K by the quarter's end. However, weekly active users experienced a gradual decline from an impressive 2.2M to 1.7M.
Doomsday: Last Survivors observed a significant spike in downloads, jumping from around 25K at the start of January to a peak of 132K in early March. Active users also saw substantial growth, with an initial 88K reaching nearly 198K in the same period.
Lastly, The Walking Zombie 2: Shooter experienced a varied download count, peaking at 73K in the second week of January but later settling to 29K by the quarter's conclusion. Its active users showed a decline from 276K down to 175K.
