In the first quarter of 2024, the top 5 entertainment apps on iOS in the Netherlands demonstrated diverse performance trends. Here’s a detailed look at their weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.
Amazon Prime Video from AMZN Mobile LLC saw a steady rise in weekly revenue, starting at about $52K and peaking at approximately $72K by the end of February. Weekly downloads fluctuated significantly, beginning the quarter at around 28K and dropping to just under 9K by the end of March. Active users also showed a decline, from 85K in the first week of January to around 66K by the end of March.
Videoland from RTL Nederland B.V. experienced a varied download trend. Downloads started at around 21K, dipped mid-quarter, and saw a peak of 21K again in early March before dropping to 9K by the end of the quarter. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around 9.5K throughout the quarter.

Downloads remained consistent, averaging around 14K to 16K per week. The app maintained a strong user base, with active users hovering around 1.6M throughout the quarter.
Netflix from Netflix, Inc. had a stable revenue flow, beginning at $35K and reaching up to $47K by the end of February. Downloads saw a slight decline over the quarter, starting at 11K and dropping to around 7.5K. Active users decreased from approximately 993K in early January to about 842K by the end of March.
Disney+ from Disney showed significant weekly revenue, starting at about $198K and peaking at $282K in mid-February. Downloads started at 9.7K and declined to around 6.8K by the end of March. Active users decreased from 414K in January to approximately 363K by the end of the quarter.
