In Q1 2024, the film and television app landscape on iOS in Latvia showcased diverse trends in downloads and revenue. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the top 5 apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Go3 Latvija, published by Viasat Baltic, saw a consistent performance in weekly downloads. The app began the quarter with 504 downloads in the first week of January and fluctuated slightly around this number. The highest weekly downloads were recorded at 558 during the last week of February. Revenue data for this app was not reported during this period.
Netflix, a well-known player from Netflix, Inc., experienced a steady stream of weekly downloads, starting at 635 in early January and ending the quarter at 386. Revenue exhibited a consistent upward trend, peaking at $232 in the final week of February. The lowest revenue was $167 in mid-March.
Tet TV+, by Tet SIA, showed a notable increase in downloads, especially in January with a peak of 514 downloads in the first week of February. Revenue followed a similar positive trend, reaching its highest at $792 in late February. The lowest revenue was $578 in mid-February.
Disney+, published by Disney, had a relatively stable download rate, with slight fluctuations between 178 and 256 throughout the quarter. Revenue varied more significantly, peaking at $768 in mid-March and hitting a low of $522 in late January.
ReelShort - Short Movie & TV, from NewLeaf Publishing, showed a varied download trend, with significant increases in March, reaching 326 downloads in mid-March. Revenue also saw fluctuations, with the highest being $228 in late February and the lowest at $95 in mid-January.
