State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!
The first quarter of 2024 has seen varying trends among the top food delivery services on the iOS platform in Brazil. Data from Sensor Tower provides a snapshot of how these apps have been faring in terms of downloads and user engagement.
The iFood: pedir delivery em casa app saw a fluctuation in downloads, peaking at 139K in mid-February, with a low of 85K towards the end of March. Weekly active users remained robust, consistently above 2.2M, and reaching nearly 2.5M in the middle of February and March.
Rappi: Market and Food Online experienced downloads in the range of 10K to 12K, with a slight uptick to close the quarter at nearly 12K. Active users exhibited a dip in early January but recovered, eventually surpassing 180K in the last week of March.
The app Vivino: Buy the Right Wine showed a varied download pattern, with a notable spike to over 6K in late January. Weekly active users saw a low of 24K early in the quarter but improved to approach 28K by the end of March. Revenue for Vivino, unlike the others, was present, ranging from $3K to just under $4K weekly.
For Uber Eats Orders, downloads dipped to just over 2K in mid-March but had a slight recovery by the quarter's end. Active users followed a similar trajectory, with a low of 9.5K in mid-January, improving to around 12K by March 25.
Lastly, the PedidosYa - Delivery App observed downloads hovering between 2K and 3K, with weekly active users showing a small increase from 33K to 35K in the latter part of the quarter.
