In the first quarter of 2024, the hack and slash category on iOS in Nigeria showcased varied performance metrics across the top 5 applications. Here’s a detailed look at the trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users for these popular apps.
Ryuko: Legend of Shadow Hunter saw a gradual decline in weekly downloads, starting at 158 in the first week of January and ending at 106 by the last week of March. Notably, there was a slight resurgence in the week of March 4, with downloads reaching 120. The app did not generate any revenue during this period.
Takashi Ninja Warrior experienced fluctuating weekly downloads, peaking at 105 in the first week of January and fluctuating between 64 and 87 for the rest of the quarter. Active users showed more stability, starting at 530 and peaking at 749 in mid-January, before ending the quarter at 710.
Shadow Knight Ninja Games RPG maintained a relatively stable download rate, with weekly figures ranging from 47 to 76. Active users mirrored this trend, starting at 99 in early January and ending at 74 by the end of March.
MARVEL Future Fight had a notable revenue performance, peaking at $113 in the week of January 15. Downloads were consistent, ranging from 29 to 61 weekly. Active users showed a slight decline from 915 in the first week to 839 by the end of the quarter.
Iron Blade: Medieval RPG had modest revenue, peaking at $5 in the first week and maintaining small but steady figures throughout the quarter. Downloads fluctuated, with a high of 50 in mid-January and a low of 25 in the last week of March. Active users decreased from 224 in early January to 183 by the end of the quarter.
