In the first quarter of 2024, Latin America's iOS platform saw interesting activity among the top investing and financial management applications. Here's a look at how these apps performed, with insights from Sensor Tower.
Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto experienced a consistent increase in downloads, starting at around 25K in the first week of January and peaking at over 56K in mid-March. Weekly active users also saw an upward trend, beginning at approximately 242K and reaching over 333K by mid-March before slightly declining.
World App - Worldcoin Wallet showed volatility in its download numbers, with a notable spike to over 70K in the third week of February. Weekly active users mirrored this pattern, with a significant jump to 75K in the same period, maintaining a relatively high engagement level throughout the quarter.
Coinbase: Buy Bitcoin & Ether had a modest start in January with downloads around 2K but saw a dramatic increase to almost 100K in the third week of March. Weekly active users started at 12K and showed a steady increase, reaching over 17K by the end of March.
XP Investimentos, a regional favorite, maintained a stable download rate around 15K to 17K in the early weeks, dipping to 12K towards the end of March. Weekly active users remained robust, beginning at 207K and slightly declining to 193K by the quarter's close.
TradingView: Track All Markets saw its revenue grow from approximately $5K to nearly $10K by mid-March, with a slight drop as the quarter ended. Downloads showed an impressive jump to 29K in the last week of January, followed by fluctuations that settled around 5K towards March end. Weekly active users started at 55K and grew to over 71K in early March, demonstrating strong user retention.
