Sensor Tower's latest analysis brings to light the performance of the top five MMORPG applications on the iOS platform across Europe in the first quarter of 2024. Here's a look at how each of these gaming giants fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users.
Diablo Immortal, from Blizzard Entertainment, saw its revenue fluctuate, peaking at $290K in the last week of January and ending the quarter with a strong $272K. Downloads showed a slight downward trend, starting at 7.7K in the first week of January and closing at 6.4K in the final week of March. Weekly active users steadily declined from 168K in the first week to 141K by the end of the quarter.
Shakes and Fidget: Idle RPG by Playa Games GmbH experienced a mid-quarter surge in revenue, jumping to $69K in the final week of February, and ended the quarter on a high note with $57K. Downloads varied, with a notable increase to 3.4K in the third week of February, and active users saw a slight increase, ending at 38.8K.
Ark Games' The Legend of Neverland showed a revenue peak in the last week of February at $41K, with a slight dip to $20K by the quarter's end. Downloads began at 3.5K and saw a decrease to 1.8K, while active users started at 21.1K and slightly decreased to 17.3K.
For MU: Dragon Havoc, the revenue peaked early in the quarter at $47K but ended at $23.6K. The game struggled with downloads, starting at 2K and dropping to a mere 287 by the end of March. Unfortunately, there was no available data on active users for this title.
Finally, Ankama's DOFUS Touch: World of Twelve showed consistent revenue, ending the quarter at $30K. Downloads saw an impressive jump, starting at 1.4K and finishing at 3.4K in the last week of March. The weekly active users count increased from 17.5K to 21K.
