Sensor Tower's latest data provides an insightful look into the performance of the leading MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) applications on the iOS platform in Europe for the first quarter of 2024. Here's how the top contenders fared.

Supercell's Brawl Stars showed an impressive uptrend across all metrics. Downloads increased from 219K in the first week of January to 919K by the end of March, while weekly active users rose from 5.6M to 11.2M in the same period. Revenue peaked at $5M in the last week of March, marking a significant rise from $1.8M at the start of the quarter.

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, developed by Shanghai Moonton Technology, experienced a more modest trend. With downloads starting at around 45K and ending the quarter at 38K, the game maintained a steady player base with weekly active users hovering just below 600K. Revenue saw peaks and troughs, concluding at $389K in the final week of March.

Riot Games' League of Legends: Wild Rift had a relatively stable quarter. Downloads ranged between 22K to 27K, and active users were consistent, with a slight decline from 378K to 345K. Revenue trends varied, with a notable spike to $390K in mid-January, ending the quarter at around $159K.

The Pokemon Company's Pokémon UNITE saw a consistent number of downloads, from 15K in early January to 12K by March's end. Weekly active users showed a gradual increase from 153K to 156K. Revenue for the game remained on the lower end, peaking at $30K in late February.

Lastly, the newcomer Honor of Kings from Level Infinite, which launched in mid-2024, had a short window of observation but showed promising growth. Downloads started at 69K and ended at 7.6K in March, while active users saw a decrease from 53K to 30K. Revenue stood at $5.4K in the last week of the quarter.
