Q1 2024: UK's Top iOS Personal Finance Apps Performance

As the first quarter of 2024 comes to a close, we're taking a look at the performance of the top personal finance budgeting and planning applications on the iOS platform in the United Kingdom. The following insights, brought to you by Sensor Tower, provide a snapshot of user engagement across these financial tools.

Emma - Budget Planner Tracker experienced a fluctuating quarter, starting with $18K in revenue and seeing a decrease to around $6K by the end of March. Downloads followed a similar downward trend from approximately 15K to 6K, while weekly active users dipped from 100K to 84K.

Budget Planner l Snoop Money saw its revenue drop from nearly $6K at the beginning of January to about $3K by the quarter's end. The app's downloads decreased from 17K to 3K, and weekly active users also saw a decline from 56K to 40K.

YNAB had a modest revenue performance, starting at $3K and peaking at nearly $5K before settling to around $2.8K. Downloads showed a slight decrease throughout the quarter, from 553 to 228, while weekly active users remained fairly stable, hovering around 1.9K.

Splitwise began the quarter with $2.4K in revenue, reaching a high of $3.1K, and ending at a similar level. Downloads saw an upward trajectory from 7.4K to 9K. Weekly active users started at 30K, experienced a mid-quarter dip, but recovered to 26K by March end.

Banktivity, while having the smallest user base, showed varied revenue starting at $731, peaking at $1K, and concluding the quarter at $196. Downloads remained in the single digits, with active users data not available for this analysis.
