As the first quarter of 2024 comes to a close, Sensor Tower provides a detailed look at the performance of the top virtual fitness applications on the iOS platform in Latin America. Here's how the leading apps fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.
Strava: Run, Bike, Hike experienced a fluctuating revenue trend, starting the quarter with $78K and peaking at $92K in mid-March before settling at $87K towards the end of March. Downloads showed a slight decline from 46K to 36K, while weekly active users decreased from 407K to 356K over the quarter.
The Smart Fit App, despite not generating revenue, saw an initial spike in downloads from 53K to 57K, followed by a gradual decrease to 23K. Weekly active users peaked at 263K in mid-January and reduced slightly to 245K by the end of March.
For Sweatcoin Walking Step Counter, revenue remained relatively low, hovering around the $1K mark throughout the quarter. Downloads witnessed a sharp increase from 18K in early March to 47K by the quarter's end. Weekly active users grew from 124K to 143K, indicating a healthy user engagement.
Adidas' Running: Walk & Run App showed consistent revenue figures, starting at $4K and ending the quarter with a similar $3.5K. Downloads saw a slight decline from 22K to 17K, while weekly active users remained stable around the 59K mark.
Lastly, Fitness App: Gym Workout Plan displayed a steady revenue increase from $4.5K to $5.9K. Downloads peaked in mid-January at 23K before falling to 15K, and weekly active users showcased a rise from 21K to a high of 30K, followed by a dip to 25K.
