As the digital fashion landscape continues to evolve, the first quarter of 2024 has provided intriguing insights into app performance across Europe. Data from Sensor Tower offers a glimpse into how these applications are faring in a competitive market.
SHEIN - Shopping Online saw a remarkable increase in downloads, starting the quarter at 1M and peaking at nearly 2M by the end of March. Weekly active users also surged from 22M to over 33M, indicating a robust engagement with the app.
On the other hand, Vinted: Sell vintage clothes experienced a fluctuating download pattern, with an initial 583K downloads dipping to 580K by the quarter's end. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, beginning at 13M and concluding at nearly the same figure.
Trendyol: Fashion & Trends had a progressive quarter with downloads rising from 279K to 525K. The app's active user base depicted a slight dip midway through the quarter but recovered, ending slightly above the starting point with 25M active users.
Zalando – Online fashion showed a downward trend in downloads, commencing at 313K and descending to 253K. Weekly active users saw a minor fluctuation but ended the quarter with a slight increase from 6M to 5.6M.
ZARA experienced a decrease in downloads from 328K to 189K. Its weekly active users showcased a modest increase from the start of the quarter at 2.6M to 2.1M by March's end.
