In the first quarter of 2024, the top 5 Apple Arcade games in Romania displayed varying trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Below, we break down the performance of each game according to Sensor Tower's data.
Snake.io - Fun Online Snake saw a notable increase in weekly revenue, starting at around $99 in early January and rising to $144 by the end of March. Weekly downloads for the game fluctuated, peaking at over 16.5K in the first week of January before dropping to 5.3K in the last week of March. Active users also showed a declining trend, decreasing from approximately 111.6K to 59.2K over the quarter.
Hill Climb Racing experienced a peak in weekly revenue at $218 in mid-February, with numbers generally hovering around $100 for the rest of the quarter. Weekly downloads spiked to 12.7K in the same period but settled at 2.7K by the end of March. The game's active user base saw a significant increase in mid-February, reaching 70.3K, before declining to 42.5K towards the end of the quarter.
Asphalt 8: Airborne showed a substantial increase in weekly revenue in late January, peaking at $350, with subsequent fluctuations and a final figure of $245 at the end of March. Downloads for the game were relatively stable, with a notable spike to 7.5K in early March. Active users peaked at 16.1K in early March but dropped to 8K by the end of the quarter.
Temple Run had a modest revenue performance, with numbers mostly below $50 and a slight uptick to $19 at the end of March. Weekly downloads varied, peaking at 4.8K in late January before declining to 2.1K. Active users also decreased, starting at 18.7K and ending the quarter at 15.2K.
Fruit Ninja® displayed steady revenue growth, reaching $148 in late February. Weekly downloads peaked at 4.4K in mid-February and remained relatively stable, closing the quarter at 2.8K. Active users showed an upward trend, peaking at 41.8K in mid-February before settling at around 29.7K by the end of March.
