During the first quarter of 2024, the top carpooling and ridesharing apps in Estonia exhibited varied performance in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Below, we delve into the specifics for each app, with data sourced from Sensor Tower.
Bolt: Request a Ride experienced a steady stream of weekly downloads, starting the quarter at 1.6K and seeing a slight decline to 832 in mid-February. However, downloads picked up again towards the end of March, peaking at approximately 1.4K. Revenue metrics remained unreported throughout the quarter.
Uber - Request a ride saw consistent weekly downloads, beginning the quarter at 538 and experiencing minor fluctuations, ending the quarter at 336. The app did not report any revenue figures for this period.
inDrive. Save on city rides showed a notable peak in downloads in early February with 613, followed by a significant drop to 73 in mid-February. The downloads saw another increase towards the end of March, reaching 224. Revenue data was not available for this app during the quarter.
Rapido: Bike-Taxi, Auto & Cabs had modest download numbers, starting at 139 and seeing a peak of 315 in early February. The app saw a decline to just 22 downloads in the last week of February, before rising again to 226 by the end of March. Like the others, it did not report any revenue figures.
Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver reported fluctuating download numbers, beginning at 168 and experiencing a dip to 73 in the second week of January. Downloads then varied, peaking again at 186 in the fourth week of January and ending the quarter at 129. No revenue data was reported for this app.
