Latin America's carpooling and ridesharing scene continues to thrive, with several key players dominating the market in the first quarter of 2024. Here's a breakdown of how the top apps fared, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Uber - Request a ride saw a fluctuation in downloads, starting at 709K in the first week of January and peaking at 725K in early February, before settling at 679K by the end of March. The app's weekly active users showed an upward trend, beginning with 25M users and reaching a high of 29M in the second week of March.

inDrive. Save on city rides experienced a slight decrease in downloads over the quarter, from 510K to 425K. Weekly active users dipped in early January to around 10M but rebounded to 11M, indicating a resilient user base.

DiDi Rider: Affordable rides maintained steady downloads, hovering around 300K to 350K throughout the quarter. The app's active users showed growth, increasing from 8.3M to a peak of 9.6M in the third week of March.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver downloads varied, with a high of 318K in late January and a low of 228K by the end of March. Weekly active users remained consistent, with a slight increase from 3M to 3.1M over the quarter.

Lastly, Yango: taxi, food, delivery showed significant growth in downloads, starting at 68K and rising to 177K. The app's active users more than doubled, from 164K to 358K, showcasing the app's expanding reach.
