During the first quarter of 2024, the top communication apps in Georgia showed varied performance trends. Data from Sensor Tower reveals the weekly downloads, revenue, and active users for WhatsApp Messenger, Telegram, Messenger, Rakuten Viber Messenger, and Snapchat.
WhatsApp Messenger saw a peak in weekly downloads at the beginning of February, reaching about 42.1K. The app's downloads fluctuated through the quarter, ending with 22.5K in the last week of March.
Telegram had a steady performance in weekly revenue, with peaks around mid-February at approximately $940. Downloads for Telegram saw a notable increase in early February, peaking at 17.1K and maintaining a fairly stable range throughout the quarter.
Messenger experienced a significant rise in weekly downloads, especially in mid-March, hitting a high of 22.9K. The app's weekly revenue also showed a gradual increase, reaching up to $38 in the first week of March.
Rakuten Viber Messenger maintained a consistent weekly revenue, peaking at $78 in mid-March. Downloads for the app were relatively stable, with a peak of 8.3K in early March.
Snapchat saw steady weekly downloads, with numbers hovering around 4.5K throughout the quarter. Its weekly revenue showed minor fluctuations, peaking at $74 at the end of January.
