In Q1 2024, the top five consumer finance apps in Germany showcased diverse performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active users.
Sparkasse Ihre mobile Filiale maintained strong weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 78K in late January and showing consistent figures around 62K to 72K throughout the quarter. The app's weekly active users fluctuated between 7.9M and 8.4M, closing the quarter at 8.2M.
VR Banking - einfach sicher experienced steady weekly downloads, with numbers ranging from 29K to 39K. Active users saw minor variations, hovering between 2.6M and 2.8M, ending Q1 at approximately 2.7M.
ING Banking to go had a notable decrease in weekly downloads, starting at 44K in early January and dropping to 24K by late March. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around 1.8M throughout the quarter.
Finanzguru - Konten & Verträge showed strong revenue generation, with weekly earnings peaking at $126K in early January and maintaining figures around $94K to $125K. Downloads saw a decline from 45K in early January to 17K by mid-March, while active users varied from 330K to 380K, ending the quarter at 362K.
DKB had consistent weekly downloads between 12K and 25K. Active users ranged from 1.5M to 1.6M, finishing Q1 at approximately 1.5M.
