In the first quarter of 2024, the top five dating apps in Mexico showcased diverse performance trends across weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Below, we delve into the specifics for each app, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Bumble Dating App: Meet & Date saw a consistent increase in weekly revenue, starting at approximately $111K and peaking at around $164K by the end of March. Weekly downloads fluctuated, beginning at 54K and reaching up to 92K in mid-February. Active users also exhibited growth, starting at 524K and rising to 542K by the quarter’s end.
Tinder Dating App: Chat & Date maintained a stable revenue range, beginning at roughly $95K and closing the quarter at about $105K. Downloads began at 71K, dipping to a low of 54K in late January, but recovered to approximately 83K by mid-March. Active user numbers showed a slight decline from 1.09M in early January to 1.14M at the end of March.
Litmatch - Make new friends experienced varied trends. Revenue began at $6K, dipped to $4K in early February, and then climbed back to $6K by the end of March. Downloads started at 62K and saw a downward trend, ending at around 36K. Active users decreased from 295K to 244K over the quarter.
Badoo: Dating. Chat. Friends had a relatively stable revenue throughout the quarter, hovering around $31K. Weekly downloads showed fluctuations, starting at 37K, dipping to 12K in late January, and then recovering to 26K by the end of March. Active users remained fairly steady, starting at 978K and ending at 927K.
Walkie Talkie - All Talk had a notable spike in performance. Revenue remained low but saw a slight increase from $157 to $289 over the quarter. Downloads surged dramatically from 10K in early January to 115K by the end of March. Active users also saw significant growth, starting at 41K and soaring to 341K.
