In the first quarter of 2024, the top 5 education apps in Greece exhibited diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active user engagement. Data from Sensor Tower reveals the specifics of each app's performance, highlighting their unique trajectories.
Duolingo - Language Lessons saw a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at around 23.7K in early February. Revenue also fluctuated, reaching approximately $23.9K in the first week of January and stabilizing around $11.8K by the end of March. Active users remained relatively stable, starting at 114K and slightly declining to about 109K by the end of the quarter.
Learn 33 Languages with Mondly experienced a significant drop in downloads, from roughly 12.5K in the first week of January to 1.3K by the end of March. Revenue followed a similar declining trend, starting at $3.4K and ending at $2.2K. Active users also decreased, from 22.7K to 7.2K over the quarter.
Udemy Online Video Courses maintained a relatively stable download rate, hovering around 500 downloads per week. Revenue saw minor fluctuations, peaking at $3.5K in the second week of January and ending at $1.8K in the last week of March. The number of active users remained around 2K throughout the quarter.
Blinkist: Book Summaries Daily had a modest performance in downloads, with numbers ranging between 176 and 841 per week. Revenue showed a downward trend, starting at $2K and ending at $1.1K. Active users also saw a slight decline, starting at 1.6K and dropping to 959 by the end of March.
Lastly, Bright - English for beginners experienced a low but steady download rate, peaking at 974 in the first week of January and ending at 954 in the last week of March. Revenue fluctuated, starting at $1.7K and stabilizing at around $1.4K. Active users showed a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, from 1K to 1.1K.
