In Q1 2024, the top five entertainment apps in Turkey exhibited diverse performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.

TikTok maintained a strong presence in Turkey, with weekly revenue peaking at approximately $270K in late February. Downloads were highest in late January, reaching around 335K, while weekly active users hovered around 36M throughout the quarter.

WePlay (ويبلاي) - Game & Chat saw consistent weekly revenue, peaking at about $139K in mid-February. Although downloads began the quarter strong with around 329K in early January, they gradually declined to approximately 118K by the end of March. Active users peaked at over 1M in late January but saw a decline to around 836K by the quarter's end.

Disney+ had moderate revenue growth, starting at about $67K in early January and peaking at $92K by the end of March. Downloads fluctuated, with a high of around 53K in mid-January, but dropped to approximately 29K by the end of the quarter. Active users also showed a downward trend, starting from around 480K and ending at about 365K.

TOD Türkiye experienced notable revenue increases, peaking at around $70K in late January. Downloads saw a significant spike to approximately 57K in late February but dropped to around 7.7K by the end of March. Active users peaked at around 553K in late February but decreased to about 484K by the end of the quarter.

GAİN showed steady revenue growth, with a peak of approximately $37K in late January. Downloads surged to around 117K in late January, then stabilized to about 21K by the end of March. Active users saw a peak of around 33K in late January, with fluctuations throughout the quarter, ending at about 22K.
