During the first quarter of 2024, the top fast food and fast casual restaurant apps in Spain demonstrated varied performance in terms of downloads and active users. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides a comprehensive look at the trends for these leading apps.
McDonald’s - Non-US saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting at around 41K in the first week of January and peaking at approximately 42K by the end of March. Active users showed fluctuating trends, beginning with 891K and ending the quarter slightly lower at 799K.
BURGER KING España experienced a steady download rate, beginning at 34K weekly downloads and reaching a peak of about 32K by the last week of March. The app's active users also trended upwards, from 476K at the start of January to around 505K at the end of the quarter.
KFC España #PolloPollo displayed significant growth in downloads, which increased from 21K in early January to nearly 37K by the end of March. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at 115K and reaching approximately 164K.
Domino’s Pizza España showed modest growth in downloads, beginning at 16K in the first week and climbing to around 18K by the end of March. Active users saw a gradual increase from 56K to nearly 60K over the same period.
Popeyes® España had a steady rise in downloads, starting at 10K and peaking at approximately 11K by the end of March. The app's active users also followed an upward trend, increasing from 18K to about 19K throughout the quarter.
