In Q1 2024, the top five fitness and weight loss programs on a unified platform in Romania displayed diverse performance metrics. According to data from Sensor Tower, here's a detailed look at the trends for these apps.
BetterMe: Health Coaching saw its weekly revenue peak at $5.2K in the first week of January before gradually declining to $3.6K by the end of March. Weekly downloads also decreased from 5.2K in early January to around 1.6K in the final week of March. Active users dropped from 14.7K at the start of the quarter to 7.3K by the end, with a slight uptick in mid-February.
MyFitnessPal: Calorie Counter experienced fluctuating weekly revenue, peaking at $5K in early February and ending the quarter at approximately $2.9K. Weekly downloads remained relatively stable, ranging from 1.9K to 2.5K throughout the quarter. Active users showed a steady increase, growing from 36.5K to 35.8K by the end of March.
Eat & Track had a strong performance in weekly downloads, starting at 3.5K and peaking at 5.8K in the last week of March. Revenue fluctuated, peaking at $4.5K in the second week of January and stabilizing around $3.5K by the end of the quarter.
Strava: Run, Bike, Hike showed a gradual increase in weekly revenue, from $3.4K at the start of January to $3.4K by mid-March, before slightly declining to $2.8K at the end of March. Downloads also saw an upward trend, starting at 1.2K and peaking at 1.6K mid-March. Active users grew significantly from 33K to 43.3K by the end of the quarter.
JustFit: Lazy Workout & Fit had a varied performance, with weekly revenue fluctuating between $2.7K and $1.5K, ending the quarter at $2.5K. Downloads showed a similar pattern, starting at 3.9K and dipping to 1K mid-quarter before rising to 1.8K by the end of March. Active users increased from 6.9K to 7.8K over the quarter.
