In Q1 2024, the top Food and Drink apps in the United States exhibited diverse trends in downloads and active user metrics. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the leading applications in this category:
DoorDash - Food Delivery saw a consistently high number of weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 490K in the first week of January before stabilizing around 380K by the end of March. The app maintained a robust active user base, starting the quarter with around 19M weekly active users, dipping slightly mid-quarter, and ending with about 20M.
McDonald's experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, hitting a peak of around 443K in the last week of February. The active user count showed slight fluctuations, beginning at approximately 9.7M and closing the quarter at about 9.8M.
Domino's Pizza USA had a stable download rate, with weekly downloads ranging from 186K to 287K. The app’s active user base remained relatively steady throughout the quarter, averaging around 3.3M.
Uber Eats: Food Delivery noted a consistent download pattern, peaking at 265K in the last week of February. The active user count varied slightly but remained strong, starting the quarter with approximately 13.2M and ending with about 13.8M.
Taco Bell Fast Food & Delivery experienced its highest weekly downloads at around 253K in late January and again in early February. The app’s active user base showed a gradual increase, beginning with around 1.1M and closing the quarter with approximately 1.3M.
