In the first quarter of 2024, the gacha game market in France showcased some remarkable performances from leading titles. Here’s a closer look at the weekly trends in downloads, revenue, and active users for the top 5 gacha games, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Last War:Survival by FirstFun saw impressive growth in weekly revenue, starting at approximately $111K in the first week of January and reaching a peak of around $443K in the final week of March. Weekly downloads, however, showed a downward trend, beginning with around 94K and ending at about 32K. Active users fluctuated but remained strong, peaking at 241.8K in late February and ending the quarter with 233.6K.
Whiteout Survival from Century Games Pte. Ltd. maintained a steady weekly revenue, starting at $266K and peaking at $363K in late January. Weekly downloads saw a decline from 44K in early January to about 23K by the end of March. Active user numbers showed minor fluctuations, starting at 145.8K and ending at 139.8K.
Legend of Mushroom by Joy Net Games, which launched in early March, experienced rapid growth in its initial weeks. Weekly revenue skyrocketed from $88K to $543K by the end of March. Downloads peaked at 116K in the second week of March before settling at around 73K. Active users also surged, starting at 74K and ending the quarter at 291.2K.
Doomsday: Last Survivors from IGG.COM had a consistent performance in weekly revenue, hovering around the $50K-$58K mark. Downloads saw a peak of 25K in mid-February but declined to around 10K by the end of March. Active users showed a growth trend, peaking at 43.8K in late February before a slight decline to 31.6K in the last week of March.
8 Ball Pool™ by Miniclip.com demonstrated steady weekly revenue, starting at $27K and fluctuating around the $19K-$27K range. Downloads peaked at 23K in mid-January but saw a decrease to approximately 15K by the end of March. Active users remained robust, peaking at 405.8K in late January and maintaining around 367K by the end of the quarter.
