In the first quarter of 2024, the top five gaming apps in Mexico showcased diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a detailed analysis of their performance, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Free Fire from Garena International saw a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $561K in the final week of February. Weekly downloads had a significant spike mid-quarter, reaching 440K in the week of January 22. Active users remained robust, ranging from 20.9M to 24.8M throughout the quarter.
Roblox by Roblox Corporation experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, culminating at $464K in the final week of March. Downloads saw a high of 424K in the first week of January but dipped to a low of 225K in early March. Active users ranged from 7.4M to 8.3M, reflecting a stable user base.
Candy Crush Saga from King demonstrated a steady rise in weekly revenue, peaking at $315K in mid-March. Downloads were relatively stable, with a high of 111K in early February. Active users fluctuated slightly, staying between 1.3M and 1.4M throughout the quarter.
Call of Duty®: Mobile by Activision Publishing saw varying weekly revenue, with a peak of $474K in the first week of January. Downloads were highest in early January at 142K but dropped to 88K by mid-March. Active users were consistent, ranging from 1.1M to 1.2M.
Royal Match from Dream Games showed a gradual increase in weekly revenue, reaching $192K in mid-March. Downloads peaked at 265K in early February but declined to 130K by the end of March. Active users grew steadily, starting at 670K in early January and reaching 813K by the end of the quarter.
