In the first quarter of 2024, the top 5 io games in New Zealand displayed a mixture of trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a detailed look at each app's performance on the unified platform, combining data from both iOS and Android, as provided by Sensor Tower.
Agar.io experienced a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $217 in the final week of March. Downloads fluctuated, with a high of 358 in early January and a low of 153 in early March. Active users saw a slight decline, starting at 503 in the first week of January and ending at 457 by the end of March.
Snake Clash! from Supercent, Inc. showed an impressive upward trend in downloads, culminating in 3.7K in mid-March. Revenue also saw an increase, peaking at $198 in the week of March 18. Active users followed a similar upward trajectory, reaching 7.3K in the same period.
Paper.io 2 by Voodoo maintained a consistent download rate, with numbers ranging from 1.2K to 2.3K throughout the quarter. Revenue showed a moderate peak of $157 in the last week of March. Active users started at 9.8K in early January and gradually decreased to 6.2K by the end of the quarter.
Little Big Snake had a modest performance with a peak revenue of $158 in mid-February. Downloads were relatively low, with the highest being 82 in early February. Active users remained fairly stable, averaging around 250 throughout the quarter.
Hole.io also by Voodoo, exhibited strong download numbers, peaking at 1.4K in mid-March. Revenue reached a high of $122 in the same period. Active users showed a gradual increase, starting at 7.5K in early January and ending at 6.8K by the end of March.
