In the first quarter of 2024, the MMORPG landscape in the United Kingdom has seen varying performance across the top applications on unified platforms. Here's a snapshot of how these games have fared, with data sourced from Sensor Tower.
Diablo Immortal has maintained a steady player interest with weekly active users hovering around 28K to 32K. Downloads peaked at 1.6K in the last week of March, while revenue saw a high of $45K in the same period, suggesting a resilient engagement among its players.
Jagex's Old School RuneScape showed consistency in its revenue, ranging from $22K to $31K weekly. The game's downloads reached a high of 1.9K in mid-January, and weekly active users saw an uptick towards the end of March, reaching over 11K.
For MU: Dragon Havoc, the revenue trended downwards, dipping to as low as $5.4K in mid-March before rebounding to $10.6K by the end of the quarter. The game's downloads and active users remained relatively steady, with downloads peaking at 292 in mid-February and active users maintaining around 1.8K.
The sibling title RuneScape also saw fluctuating revenue, with a notable spike to $14.9K in late February. Downloads surged to 2.3K in the final week of March, coinciding with an increase in weekly active users to 7.8K, indicating a growing interest in the game.
Lastly, The Legend of Neverland experienced its highest revenue at the end of February with $9.2K. Downloads remained under 1.4K for most of the quarter, while active users fluctuated, reaching a high of 6.7K in mid-February.
