Latin America's MMORPG market has seen varied performance across top titles in the first quarter of 2024. Here's a glance at the numbers for the leading games.
Ragnarok Origin: ROO experienced a strong start with over 1.5M downloads in its launch week, but downloads showed a downward trend, settling at 22K in the final week of the quarter. Revenue grew to $238K in the first full week but normalized to around $217K by the quarter's end. Weekly active users mirrored the download trend, peaking at 1.3M and decreasing to 200K.
MU: Dragon Havoc maintained a steady revenue stream, starting the quarter at $115K and ending at $44K. Downloads and weekly active users both followed a declining trend, with downloads dropping from 23K to 2.9K and active users decreasing from 38K to 25K over the quarter.
Diablo Immortal saw its revenue fluctuate, peaking at $72K in early February and then varying, finishing the quarter at around $60K. Downloads began at 10K, reached a high of 16K in the last week of March, and weekly active users ranged from 151K to 154K.
The Legend of Neverland showed a revenue of $48K at the start of the quarter, with a slight decrease to $21K by the end. Downloads saw a high of 55K in the first week, but like others, it experienced a downtrend, ending at 29K. Active users started at 132K and had a dip, closing at 102K.
The newcomer NIGHT CROWS, released in mid-March, garnered significant attention with $104K in revenue in its debut week, which then adjusted to around $97K. Downloads began at 33K, dropping to 4.4K, while active users started at 16K and saw a slight downtrend to 13K.
