In Q1 2024, the top 5 MOBA apps in France—Brawl Stars, League of Legends: Wild Rift, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Pokémon UNITE, and BUMP! Superbrawl—showed varied performance in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides a comprehensive look at their market presence.
Brawl Stars from Supercell experienced a significant increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $1.07M in the final week of March. Weekly downloads also saw a rise, reaching 191.9K in the same week, while weekly active users increased steadily from 1.92M to 3.66M throughout the quarter.
League of Legends: Wild Rift from Riot Games, Inc showed a mixed trend. Weekly revenue peaked at around $69K in early February but dipped to $32.6K by the end of March. Weekly downloads fluctuated, peaking at 6.6K in mid-February and dropping to 4.5K by the end of the quarter. Active users saw a slight decline, starting at 52.9K and ending at 53.3K.
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang from Moonton had a relatively stable performance. Weekly revenue peaked at approximately $65.3K in early March. Downloads saw a high of 6.5K in late February, while active users showed growth from 69.5K to 81.5K over the quarter.
Pokémon UNITE from The Pokémon Company showed varied performance. Weekly revenue peaked at around $9.5K in late February. Downloads reached a high of 9.5K in early January, while active users increased from 27.4K to 31.4K throughout the quarter.
BUMP! Superbrawl from Ubisoft Entertainment, a newer entrant, showed promising early performance. Weekly revenue peaked at approximately $4.5K in late February. Downloads were highest in the week of February 19, reaching 12.3K.
