In the first quarter of 2024, Latvia's top 5 music and podcasts apps showed diverse performance trends across downloads, revenue, and user engagement. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides a comprehensive look at how these apps fared.
Spotify - Music and Podcasts saw a relatively steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $2.9K in late January. Downloads fluctuated slightly, with a high of 1.6K in early January, settling around 1.4K towards the end of the quarter.
YouTube Music experienced a modest revenue increase, reaching approximately $1.1K in late February and early March. Weekly downloads remained stable, averaging around 650 throughout the quarter.
Deezer: Music Player, Podcast showed a notable revenue spike, peaking at $320 in mid-March. Downloads were relatively low but saw slight increases, reaching up to 74 in early January.
TIDAL Music: HiFi Sound maintained a consistent revenue stream, peaking at $233 in mid-March. Downloads showed a significant increase in early February, reaching 160, but generally hovered around 60-80 downloads per week for the rest of the quarter.
SoundCloud: Discover New Music saw steady revenue, peaking at $189 in late January. Downloads were robust, with a high of 815 in late February, maintaining an average of 650-700 throughout the quarter.
