During the first quarter of 2024, the top 5 navigation and maps applications in Ecuador displayed varying trends in weekly downloads, active users, and revenue. Here’s an overview of their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.
Google Maps Go experienced a notable increase in weekly downloads, peaking at around 11.5K in mid-February. Weekly active users fluctuated slightly but showed a steady rise, reaching approximately 462K by the end of March.
Waze Navigation & Live Traffic also saw an upward trend in weekly downloads, with a significant peak of about 10.2K in early March. Active users showed a consistent increase, ending the quarter at around 227K.
Google Earth had relatively stable weekly downloads, averaging around 2.4K towards the end of the quarter. Active users saw a slight dip but remained stable, ending the quarter at approximately 21.8K.
Radarbot Speed Camera Detector saw a gradual increase in weekly revenue, with a notable peak of around $464 in late February. Weekly downloads peaked at about 3.2K in mid-March, and active users increased steadily, reaching approximately 5.6K by the end of March.
Maps All in One, Speedometer showed significant growth in weekly downloads, with a peak of approximately 4.3K in late February. Active users also increased, peaking at around 2.9K in mid-February.
