In Q1 2024, the top 5 personal finance budgeting and planning apps in Mexico showed varied performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active users.
Profuturo Móvil had a strong start with weekly downloads peaking at 21K in the second week of January. However, downloads tapered off to around 12K by the end of March. Weekly active users for the app consistently hovered around 140K to 150K, maintaining user engagement throughout the quarter.
Banregio experienced a gradual decline in downloads, starting from 5.7K in early January and dropping to 2.7K by the end of March. Despite this, weekly active users showed a stable trend, ranging between 60K and 64K, indicating steady user retention.
Splitwise saw a notable variation in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $2.1K in mid-March. Weekly downloads fluctuated, with a high of 4.7K in the first week of January and a low of 1.8K in early March, before recovering to 4.6K by the end of the quarter. Active users remained relatively stable, averaging around 9K to 10K.
Money manager, expense tracker showed consistent weekly revenue, peaking at about $591 in mid-February. Downloads started strong at 6.8K in the first week of January but gradually declined to 1.6K by the end of March. Active users saw a slight decline from 34K in early January to around 29K by the end of the quarter.
Money Tracker:Expense & Budget demonstrated a steady increase in weekly revenue, reaching approximately $388 in the final week of March. Weekly downloads showed a downward trend, starting at 4.6K in early January and decreasing to 2K by the end of March. Active users steadily increased, peaking at 7.3K in mid-March.
