During the first quarter of 2024, the top 5 shopping apps in Kuwait showed varied performance across downloads and active users. Data from Sensor Tower reveals interesting trends for these leading applications.
Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire experienced a consistent rise in weekly downloads, starting at 25.5K in early January and peaking at 29K by the end of March. The app's active users also saw a significant increase, growing from 71.6K at the beginning of the quarter to 102.1K by the end of March.
SHEIN - Shopping Online had a fluctuating download trend, with numbers ranging from around 8.8K to 13K. Active users for SHEIN showed a slight decrease from 220.8K in early January to 236.4K at the end of March, with occasional peaks, notably reaching 243.2K in the second week of January.
Trendyol: Fashion & Trends saw its weekly downloads increase from 6.5K at the start of January to 10.8K by the end of March. Active users for Trendyol also grew steadily, starting at 14.9K and reaching 20.4K by the end of the quarter.
Alibaba.com maintained a relatively stable download rate, averaging around 3.4K weekly downloads throughout the quarter. Active users fluctuated slightly but remained around 76K to 80K, ending the quarter at 80.6K.
Xcite Online Shopping had a moderate download trend, starting at 3.6K and peaking at 3.9K mid-February. The app's active user base showed minor fluctuations, beginning at 25.1K in early January and slightly decreasing to 24K by the end of March.
