Throughout the first quarter of 2024, the top 5 social networking apps in Chile demonstrated varied performance trends according to Sensor Tower data. Here’s a closer look at each app's metrics, including weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.
Grindr - Gay Dating & Chat from Grindr LLC showed a consistent revenue stream, peaking at approximately $28.7K in the last week of February. Weekly downloads fluctuated, with a high of 15.8K in mid-February. Active users saw an increase towards the end of the quarter, rising from 329.9K in early March to 363.2K by the end of March.
Skype by Skype Communications S.a.r.l experienced a relatively stable revenue trend, averaging around $5.2K per week, with a peak of $5.5K in late February. Downloads decreased over the quarter, dropping from 3.3K in early January to around 1.4K by the end of March. Active users also saw a gradual decline, ending the quarter at approximately 33.6K.
Candy Chat - Live video chat from CANDY GROUP LIMITED had variable revenue, peaking at $10.9K in the last week of February. Weekly downloads remained relatively low, averaging about 2.2K throughout the quarter. Active users showed a slight upward trend, finishing the quarter with around 21.5K users.
Azar - Video Chat by Hyperconnect LLC maintained a steady revenue, averaging around $4.0K per week, with a peak of $4.5K in early March. Downloads saw a significant decline, dropping from 2.7K in early January to just 914 by the end of March. Active users also decreased, from 8.6K in early January to around 5.9K by the end of the quarter.
Discord - Talk, Play, Hang Out by Discord, Inc. reported a peak revenue of $8.7K in late February. Weekly downloads were robust, with a peak of 15.8K in mid-January. Active users remained strong throughout the quarter, averaging around 780K.
