Top 5 Social Networking Apps in Ukraine for Q1 2024

In the first quarter of 2024, the top social networking applications in Ukraine showed varied performance across downloads, revenue, and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Telegram Messenger saw a dynamic quarter. Weekly revenue peaked at around $220K in early March, with notable fluctuations throughout the period. Weekly downloads ranged between 125K to 220K, showing a slight increase towards the end of March. Active users started at 12.1M in early January but experienced a gradual decline to 11.9M by the end of the quarter.

Rakuten Viber Messenger had a relatively steady performance. Revenue remained consistent, averaging around $12K to $13K weekly. Downloads saw a slight uptick in the last week of March, reaching 82.9K. Active users fluctuated slightly but ended the quarter at approximately 9.1M.

WhatsApp Messenger showed strong download numbers, peaking at 143K in mid-February. Active users displayed a steady increase, reaching around 1.5M towards the end of March.

Threads experienced varying download trends, with a notable spike to 81K in mid-February, followed by a decline to 47.6K by the end of March. Active users grew from 457K in early January to 643K by the end of the quarter.

Google Meet had a significant surge in downloads in late January, peaking at 65K. However, downloads decreased to around 13K by the end of March. Active users peaked at 579K in early February, ending the quarter at 432K.
