In the first quarter of 2024, the top virtual fitness programs in Denmark showed notable performance trends on a unified platform, combining data from both iOS and Android. Here's a closer look at the weekly downloads, revenue, and active user trends for the top 5 apps: Strava: Run, Bike, Hike, Zwift: Ride and Run, AllTrails: Hike, Bike & Run, JustFit: Lazy Workout & Fit, and Fitbit: Health & Fitness.
Strava: Run, Bike, Hike experienced significant growth in weekly revenue, starting from around $24.7K in early January and peaking at approximately $29.3K by the end of March. Weekly downloads also saw an upward trend, reaching 4K in the final week of the quarter. Active users increased steadily, from 38.4K in the first week to 39.3K by the end of March.
Zwift: Ride and Run maintained a consistent weekly revenue, starting at $15.4K and slightly decreasing to $13.5K by the end of March. Weekly downloads showed a downward trend, starting at over 500 and dropping to 152. Active users also declined from 2.4K to 1.7K throughout the quarter.
AllTrails: Hike, Bike & Run saw an increase in weekly revenue, peaking at $10.6K in the final week of March. Weekly downloads surged to 4K in the last week, while active users grew from 8.1K at the beginning of January to 9.3K by the end of the quarter.
JustFit: Lazy Workout & Fit had fluctuating weekly revenue, starting at $8K and ending at around $3.6K. Weekly downloads showed a downward trend initially but rebounded to 1.8K by the end of March. Active users increased from 6.7K to 6.5K over the quarter.
Fitbit: Health & Fitness exhibited stable performance in weekly revenue, beginning at $3.6K and closing at $3.7K. Weekly downloads remained relatively steady, with slight fluctuations around the 200-300 mark. Active users hovered around 10.8K throughout the quarter.
