During the second quarter of 2024, the performance of top carpooling and ridesharing apps on the Android platform in Denmark showed a range of trends in downloads and weekly active users. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides a detailed look at the market dynamics.
Bolt: Request a Ride saw a relatively stable trend in downloads, starting at approximately 691 in the first week of April and ending at around 779 by the last week of June. Weekly active users for the app fluctuated slightly but remained near 5.7K to 6K throughout the quarter.
Uber - Request a ride experienced consistent downloads, with a notable peak of about 804 in the last week of June. The app's weekly active users showed a steady increase, beginning at approximately 21.3K in early April and reaching around 23.9K by the end of June.
Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver had modest download numbers, peaking at 113 in early May and ending the quarter at around 100. Weekly active users for the app remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 734 and 818 throughout the quarter.
Cabify saw its downloads hover around the 50-70 range, with a slight peak of 73 in mid-May. The weekly active users for Cabify showed a slight downward trend, starting at 202 in early April and ending at 186 by the end of June.
inDrive. Save on city rides had a varied download pattern, starting at 66 in early April and peaking at 105 in the second week of April. The weekly active users showed a small increase, beginning at 392 and reaching around 406 by the end of June.
