In Q2 2024, the fitness and weight loss category for Android apps has seen varying user engagement and download figures. Data from Sensor Tower offers a glimpse into the performance of the top apps in this sector.
YAZIO Food & Calorie Counter maintained a steady user base with weekly active users peaking at 31K and dipping to a low of 25K. Downloads showed a similar trend, starting at around 3K in the first week and experiencing fluctuations throughout the quarter, with a notable spike to 3.7K in early June.
Strava: Run, Bike, Hike experienced modest revenue figures, ranging from $800 to over $1.2K in mid-June. The app's weekly active users hovered around 11K to 12K, while download numbers varied, reaching a high of 509 in the last week of June.
MyFitnessPal: Calorie Counter saw revenues ranging from $500 to $823 by the end of June. Weekly active users were mostly stable, with a slight drop in April and a recovery in subsequent months, maintaining an average of around 8K. Download counts were highest at the beginning of April at 897 and saw a general decrease over the quarter.
Wikiloc - Trails of the World showed revenue figures with some fluctuations, peaking at $672 in early April and settling at $461 by the quarter's end. Active user counts had a high of 771 in early May, while downloads saw a peak of 435 in the same period before dropping to 201 by late June.
Workout Planner Muscle Booster earned revenues between $199 and $451 in mid-April. Weekly active user numbers saw a high of 1.2K in mid-May, with downloads peaking at 521 in the same month. There was a notable dip in both users and downloads towards the end of June.
