Sensor Tower's data provides a clear picture of how fitness and weight loss applications are performing on the Android platform in the second quarter of 2024. Here are the insights into the top five apps in this category for the US market.
Mi Fitness (Xiaomi Wear) experienced a fluctuating trend in downloads, starting at 5.6K in the first week of April and dipping to 3.6K by the end of June. Weekly active users showed a slight decline from 93K to 87K in the same period.
Step Counter - Pedometer by Hitchhike Tech saw its downloads decrease from 3.2K to 2.6K, while weekly active users also dropped from 14K to 11.7K by the quarter's end.
YAZIO Food & Calorie Counter brought in a revenue starting at $4.7K in the first week, down to $2.8K in the last week of June. Downloads began at 2.5K and dipped to 2.4K, with weekly active users starting at 27.9K and ending at 25.8K.
Weight Loss for Women: Workout showed a varied download pattern with an initial 1.4K downloads, peaking at 2.5K, then falling to 1.2K. Its weekly active users started at 9.8K, peaked at 13K, and closed the quarter at 12K.
Lastly, the Step Counter - Pedometer app by Leap Fitness Group had downloads starting at 3K, dropping to a low of 518 by quarter's end. Weekly active users saw a decrease from 57.8K to 34.5K over the same timeframe.
