During the second quarter of 2024, the top 5 food and drink apps on the Android platform in Mexico exhibited notable trends in weekly downloads and active user metrics, as reported by Sensor Tower.

DiDi Food: Express Delivery saw a consistent pattern in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 68.8K in early April and peaking at around 76.5K by mid-June. Active users for DiDi Food increased from 1.19M at the beginning of the quarter to about 1.36M towards the end.

Rappi: Food Delivery, Grocery experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, with a notable high of 68.7K in mid-June from a low of 49.3K in late May. Active users showed a slight decline from 1.03M in early April to 1.06M by the end of June.

McDonald's Offers and Delivery demonstrated a steady increase in weekly downloads, reaching a peak of 67.4K by the end of June, up from 44.2K at the start of the quarter. The app’s active users grew from 300.7K in early April to 348.3K by late June.

Uber Eats: Food Delivery showed a varied trend in weekly downloads, starting at 50.6K in early April and reaching up to 63.9K by the end of June. Active users for Uber Eats increased from 601.5K at the beginning of the quarter to around 636.4K towards the end.

Lastly, Burger King® Mexico experienced significant spikes and drops in weekly downloads, peaking at 55.5K in mid-May from a low of 12.4K in early June. Active users for Burger King Mexico rose from 106K in early April to 98.4K by late June.
