State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!
As the food delivery market continues to evolve, we at Sensor Tower have analyzed the performance of the top food delivery services on the Android platform in the US during the second quarter of 2024. Here's a snapshot of how these apps have fared in terms of downloads and weekly active users.
Bolt Food: Delivery & Takeaway saw a fluctuating trend in downloads, with numbers ranging from 1.5K to 1.9K over the quarter. Weekly active users showed more consistency, hovering around the 40K to 45K mark, with a peak at approximately 46K users.
Swiggy Food, Grocery & Dineout experienced a moderate increase in downloads, starting at 1.2K and reaching up to 1.9K. The app's active users remained fairly stable, with slight growth from 18K to around 19K weekly active users.
Wolt Delivery: Food and more downloads showed some variability, staying in the range of 1.1K to 1.9K throughout the quarter. Weekly active users started strong at around 44K, dipped to 38K, and then saw a rise, finishing the quarter with 45K active users.
foodpanda: food & groceries had a relatively low number of downloads compared to its competitors, with figures ranging from just under 400 to around 900 downloads per week. Weekly active users saw a slight uptick from 24K to 26K by the end of the quarter.
Uber Eats: Food Delivery witnessed a varied trend in downloads, with a peak at 740 and a low at 368. The number of active users per week showed marginal growth, maintaining close to 9K to 10K active users.
